SAY what you have noticed, ASK about suicide & DO something supportive, or find someone else to help.
Asking won’t make it worse - instead it provides relief, acknowledgement and validation.
You don’t need to have any answers - the person just wants to feel heard, understood and less alone.
Just notice, show up, ask, listen, validate and call for professional help in an emergency.
Don’t wait for someone else to respond. If we all assume someone else will help, no one does anything, leaving the person at risk alone.
