Amaze is the peak body for autistic people and their supporters in Victoria.Amaze builds autism understanding in the community, influences policy change for autistic people and their families/supporters, and provides independent, credible information and resources to individuals, families, professionals, government and the wider community.
Aspect is Australia’s largest service provider for people on the autism spectrum. Our specialised, evidence informed schools program is one of the largest in the world, with additional services that include information and advice, diagnostic assessments, behaviour support, parent and family support, and adult programs.
the Healthy Autistic Life Lab (HALL). HALL collaborates with numerous researchers globally and covers research programs into autism addressing Intersectionality in autism; Mental Health in Autism; Suicide in Autism; LGBTIQ+; sexuality; relationship development; the female profile of autism; mirror neurons in autism; and the transition to adulthood in autism.
The Olga Tennison Autism Research Centre (OTARC) is Australia's first centre dedicated to autism research. It has a strong focus on research translation through the development of evidence-based tools, and collaborates with other autism research centres and institutes both in Australia and internationally.
The Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society (ARCSHS) conducts world-class research and education on the social dimensions of sexuality, gender, health and human relationships. We work collaboratively with other researchers, communities, community-based organisations, government and professionals to advance knowledge and promote positive change in policy, practice and people’s lives.
